Modern LED technology enables sanitary facilities to be illuminated without glare, and it also creates pleasant atmospheres by e.g. individually specifying the light colour. Because sanitary areas are often only used on an ad-hoc basis, energy costs for lighting can be significantly reduced by intelligent light management systems with presence sensors.
